On certain PMICs, an unexpected assertion of KPDPWR_DEB (the positive logic hardware debounced power key signal) may be seen during the falling edge of KPDPWR_N (i.e. a power key press) when it occurs close to the rising edge of SLEEP_CLK. This then triggers a spurious KPDPWR interrupt. Handle this issue by adding software debouncing support to ignore key events that occur within the hardware debounce delay after the most recent key release event. Currently, PON address is read from the "reg" property. For PON GEN3, which starts with PMK8350, the "reg" property will have both the PON HLOS and PON PBS addesses defined. Select callers of iqs7222_parse_props() do not expect a child node to be derived and returned via pointer. As such, these callers set **child_node to NULL. However, this pointer is dereferenced in all cases. To solve this problem, dereference the pointer only for cases that expect a child node in the first place. If fwnode_property_count_u32() returns a negative error code then, because of type promotion, the "count > ARRAY_SIZE(pins)" condition will be true. The negative "count" is type promoted to a high unsigned size_t value. That means the "else if (count < 0)" condition will always be false and we don't print that error message or propagate the error code from fwnode_property_count_u32() as intended. Fix this by re-ordering the checks so that we check for negative first. Add support for the IST3038C touchscreen IC from Imagis, based on downstream driver. The driver supports multi-touch (10 touch points) The IST3038C IC supports touch keys, but the support isn't added because the touch screen used for testing doesn't utilize touch keys. Looking at the downstream driver, it is possible to add support for other Imagis ICs of IST30**C series. Add support to the hammer driver to parse vivaldi keyboard layouts and expose them to userspace. We need to support parsing the HID device in both the Vivaldi and the Hammer drivers so that we can properly expose the function row physmap to userspace when a hammer device uses a vivaldi keyboard layout for the function row keys. Extract the feature mapping logic from the vivaldi driver into an hid specific vivaldi library so we can use it from both HID drivers. To allow more code sharing we mandate that vivaldi data must be placed at the very beginning of the driver data attached to the HID device instance. Let's introduce a common library file for the physmap show function duplicated between three different keyboard drivers. This largely copies the code from cros_ec_keyb.c which has the most recent version of the show function, while using the vivaldi_data struct from the hid-vivaldi driver. This bug happened on hybrid systems when both cpu_core and cpu_atom have the same event name such as "UOPS_RETIRED.MS" while their event terms are different, then during perf stat, the event for cpu_atom will parse fail and then no output for cpu_atom. UOPS_RETIRED.MS -> cpu_core/period=0x1e8483,umask=0x4,event=0xc2,frontend=0x8/ UOPS_RETIRED.MS -> cpu_atom/period=0x1e8483,umask=0x1,event=0xc2/ It is because event terms in the "head" of parse_events_multi_pmu_add will be changed to event terms for cpu_core after parsing UOPS_RETIRED.MS for cpu_core, then when parsing the same event for cpu_atom, it still uses the event terms for cpu_core, but event terms for cpu_atom are different with cpu_core, the event parses for cpu_atom will fail. This patch fixes it, the event terms should be parsed from the original event. This patch can work for the hybrid systems that have the same event in more than 2 PMUs. It also can work in non-hybrid systems. Pull RISC-V fixes from Palmer Dabbelt: - prevent users from enabling the alternatives framework (and thus errata handling) on XIP kernels, where runtime code patching does not function correctly. - properly detect offset overflow for AUIPC-based relocations in modules.
