branches/zip: Simplify lock_mode_stronger_or_eq() and lock_mode_compatible()

and introduce enum lock_mode.

lock_mode_stronger_or_eq(), lock_mode_compatible(): Replace if-then-else
chain with a bitwise and against a constant.
