+- download: extend API with a new parameter to use an alternate URL as fallback.
+- download: avoid temporary file when possible,
+  do not check md5sum twice when using cache file,
+  ignore fallback mode if a checksum is given,
+  remove and download again in case of checksum mismatch for a cached path.
+- Be more verbose for the first part to reinstall
+  (changed option or missing path).
