Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.

There are currently two ways to create a set of sysfs files for a kobj_type: through the default_attrs field, and the default_groups field. Move the PCI slot code to use the default_groups field which has been the preferred way since aa30f47c ("kobject: Add support for default attribute groups to kobj_type") so that we can soon get rid of the obsolete default_attrs field.
