Merged the different find_xxxx_table_in_list functions to one + some inline functions

  Fix the other typo, too. :-)

  Fix typo in comments.

  if many plans have identical cost, which one will be used depends on how compiler optimizes floating-point calculations
  this fix adds repeatability to the optimizer
