ERP5 Contributor Agreement
In order to obtain the ability to request merging your changes into ERP5 source
code repository and become a Contributor you must indicate your agreement to the
terms below by completing and signing this agreement and returning it to
NEXEDI SA by email (info@nexedi.com).
1. Contact Information
Last name:
First name:
Employer Name:

Phone Number:
Postal address:
2. Merge Request Process
Contributor uses his or her own source code repository to prepare changes to
ERP5 as a fork. Contributor submits merge requests into ERP5 merge review
application. The merge request becomes visible to the public. ERP5 core team
approves or rejects the merge request. In case of rejection, a rationale is
provided.
3. Treatment of Account.
Contributor will not allow anyone other than the Contributor to use the merge
request login to access the merge request application. Should Contributor
become aware of any such use, Contributor will immediately notify NEXEDI SA by
email or fax. Until such notice is received, Committer will be presumed to have
taken all actions made through Contributor's account. Nexedi will have complete
control and discretion over capabilities assigned to Contributor's account, and
may disable Contributor's account for any reason at any time. Contributor's
name and account will be visible worldwide via the Internet.
4. Legal Effect of Contribution.
Upon submitting a change or new work to the ERP5 merge review application
(a "Contribution"), you agree to assign, and hereby do assign, a one-half
interest of all right, title and interest in and to copyright and other
intellectual property rights with respect to your new and original portions of
the Contribution to NEXEDI SA. You and NEXEDI SA each agree that the other shall
be free to exercise any and all exclusive rights in and to the Contribution,
without accounting to one another, including without limitation, the right to
license the Contribution to others under the General Public License. This
agreement shall run with title to the Contribution. NEXEDI SA does not convey to
you any right, title or interest in or to the Program or such portions of the
Contribution that were taken from the Program. Your transmission of a password
to NEXEDI SA merge review and marks of identification within the Contribution
itself constitute your authentication of intent to contribute and your
assignment of the work in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement.
5. License Terms.
Code committed to the ERP5 source repository ( Committed Code ) must be
governed by the General Public License (GPLv3) or by the license which already
applies to the code which has been modified.
6. Representations, Warranty, and Indemnification.
Contributor represents and warrants that the Committed Code does not violate
the rights of any person or entity, and that the Contributor has legal authority
to enter into this Agreement and legal authority over Contributed Code. Further,
Contributor indemnifies NEXEDI SA against violations.
